1. Scope of Services

For over sixty years, Poltegor-projekt sp. z o.o. has been specializing in developing technologies and designing machinery and equipment for continuous opencast mining systems and bulk materials handling and storage. The machinery and equipment designed and delivered by Poltegor is used in surface and underground mines, lignite or coal fired power plants, steel mills, cement plants, minerals processing plants and sea ports for all bulks like coal, ore, fly ash, rocks, industrial minerals, fertilizers, and flue gas desulphurization wastes from power plants as well.

1.1. Belt Conveying
Designing belt conveyors for different use, having the following technical characteristics:

• capacity from 500 up-to 15 000 m³/hr
• belt width from 800 up-to 2 750 mm
• belt speed from 2 m/sec up-to 6 m/sec
• power of drive units from 1x55kW up-to 6×1250 kW
• rubber-textile belt, or steel-cord belt of strength up to 4 000 kN/m in width

1.2. Bucket Wheel Excavators
Designing  bucket wheel excavators of the following main technical characteristics:

• capacity: up to 6300 m³/h
• digging height from 8 up-to 30 m
• digging radius from 10 up-to 40 m
• bucket wheel diameter up-to 12.5 m
• bucket volume from 125 to 2000 L
• discharge radius up-to 100 m
• digging resistance 80 up to 150 kN/m

1.3. Spreaders
Designing spreaders of the following main technical characteristics:

• capacity from 500 m³/h up-to 16 000 m³/h
• stacking radius from 25 up-to 110 m
• reclaiming radius from 11 up-to 90 m
• crawler-mounted or rail-mounted

1.4. Special purpose machinery and equipment

Designing  special Transport Crawlers for haulage in difficult mine site conditions of conveyor driving stations of load-carrying capacity up-to 600 T and also, 65 T carrying units for haulage of conveyor standard frames.

Designing storage yard machines of the following main technical characteristics:

3. Executive Potential

Poltegor-projekt Sp. z o.o. has highly skilled staff of mechanical and structural engineers with many years of international experience. The mechanical engineering team consists near of 15 employees working full-time and, in case of need, further 20 are available to work as outside employeees. The core staff are the engineers with longterm  experience in designing machinery and equipment for surface mining and bulk materials handling in 30 countries all over the world. All the designs are done using the most modern computer  hardware and software AutoCAD, ROBOT-Milenium, Nastran, MicroStrains + Norma and others. All static and dynamic calculations are done basing on ISO and/or DIN respective standards.
